Positional Release Therapy is an excellent way to release hypersensitive tissue easily and quickly. Similar to Orthobionomy and Strain-Counter strain, this osteopathic-based technique uses the body’s nervous system to remind the muscles to relax. The techniques consist of precise positioning and the use of monitor points to relax the muscle in an effortless way.
This therapy is gentle yet powerful and combines well with other therapies. Some practitioners use this style of therapy as their main modality. This course was held in Adelaide this year and was fully booked out, so book early for 2009 and don't miss out. To list we will require a $100 deposit. For a video presentation introduction please go to www.deeptissue.com and go to the DVD page and click on Positional Release. This will give you some idea of what this therapy is all about. Continuing education credits and statement of completion will be issued on completion for all workshops and seminars. This seminar is taught by Rebecca Ridge, MA, a massage therapist, certified psychodramatist, and registered psychologist (Australia). She has been presenting this course for many years and is considered an expert in this area. She lectures here and in the USA. Her courses are extremely popular and her teaching style is lively and packed with valuable information.
